As you can see in the pictures below julia is getting bigger and learning how to really involve herself with things around her. She is shown with her ball, one of her toys, but really she likes air vents, chords, door stoppers and other things a lot better than her "toys." She has the GI Joe scoot down, and she gets up on her hands and knees a lot, but then figures out that its quicker for her to scoot. I'm kind of glad, when she realizes how fast crawling is, its all over.

summer time

Summer Time!!

We are very excited about summer time! Nick is from wisconsin, and we are leaving for our summer trip to see his family--we are going to be there about almost a month. Julia is going to get to meet her grandpa for the first time and some of her uncles and cousins for the first time, too!!

We are really hoping that Julia enjoys the car ride, which is going to be close to 20 hours.....divided between 2 days. Should be interesting! Nick is up giving our car a pre-trip tuneup.

in the blog world

After viewing everyone else's blogs I decided I would make my own so that I wouldn't be a blog stalker. It just seems strange to always look at other peoples blogs to see whats going on with them without having your own. So, I have one and I'll probably do a terrible job of updating...at least I tried. The pictures of julia are from feb, when she was born....I'll try to put up some more recent ones since thats all people look at anyway.
