We took julia for her first trip to the zoo on the day before thanksgiving. Lots of fun! The flamingo's were her favorite BY FAR---so here is a pic.

So, I do realize that it has been quite a while since I have updated, and I have two very good reasons. One being that my camera is/has been in nicks truck and he is at work during the only time I have a chance to think about blogging (julia's nap time). And blogging is not very interesting without pictures. And the other reason seems to be a popular and frequent excuse these days for a long gap between posts.....being in the first trimester of pregnancy. June 24 is the estimated date of arrival for nehring baby # 2!!! WE are very excited and look foward to being out of the sleepy/nausating days of the first trimester!

EDIT***** I am adding a few pics that I stole from facebook. We went to the mountains with our freinds katie and paul firth. Julia is, Again, clinging to her beloved doll. And her good friend braden was too cute not to post his picture.

camping with the fam

We went camping with the fam in north georgia for fall break. My brother looks like a terrorist because of his beard. Julia loved playing in the creek with nick. Susanna got all light headed on our trip up amicolola fall and we had to bum a drink off of someone at the top, and then let dad and nick hike to the bottom and drive back to the top to get us.

nice weather for the park!

Julia and I have been to the park several times this week because the weather is too good to pass up! :) You can see she loves the swing, and the static electricity loves her hair, and she is very concerned with making sure her baby is having a good time
